Joining our Coven

Joining The Black Thorn Coven couldn't be easier.

However please read through the following before contacting us.

• Who will be allowed into the Coven?

We welcome all paths and practice within our coven providing your practice does not harm any living thing. We would also require you to be from the UK or a similar time Zone for Coven meets and rituals.

• Are there certain qualifications that must be met?

There are no formal qualifications in Witchcraft needed as these are hard to come by. You must have a common knowledge of your path and be interested in Witchcraft to join ( this is not a role play group, we are practising Witches).

• What requirements are there to remain a member?

All members will be required to participate in at least one sabbat/esbatt ritual per year, either in person or using the cyber modes we will have in place. All new Witches will be required to learn the craft as you go along and report what you are learning, from inside the coven and out.

• Is there an initiation process?

All members will be required to write or record and detailed description about themselves and their path. This must include your practice and the amount of time you have been practicing for.

Examples needed in your description are:

• You will agree to uphold the bylaws and rules of The Black Thorn Coven.

• You promise to support the works of the coven with energy, contributions, or other resources as needed, whilst giving first priority to the needs of my family and livleyhood.
